Expert program design for AI training and evaluation

Expert Program Design is a Kernavique Advisory engagement for AI labs and data vendors that need qualified professionals in their training and evaluation work. Before anyone is engaged, we set the expert pool, how each expert is vetted, the unit of deliverable and how it is checked, and the legal and professional-conduct structure the program runs under. You get a written design your team, or any supplier, can run.

What you get

  • Pool definition

Which professions and qualifications the work needs, at what seniority, and where a UK qualification serves and where a US one is required.

  • Vetting standard

How qualifications are confirmed with the relevant register or professional body, what practice history counts and how conflicts are checked.

  • Deliverable structure

The unit of work, such as a graded response, a ranked set or a rubric, with how quality is reviewed and who signs it off.

  • Legal and conduct structure

How experts are engaged, the confidentiality terms and the conduct rules that solicitors, accountants and clinicians each work under.

How it runs

  1. BriefThe model, the domain and what the training or evaluation data has to show.
  2. DesignPool, vetting, deliverable units and legal structure, tested against the conduct rules of each profession involved.
  3. DocumentOne written design your team can run, with the reasoning behind each choice.
  4. RunIn-house, with another vendor or with Kernavique Expertise supplying the people.

When it fits

  • You are starting a legal, tax, finance or clinical evaluation program and have not used professional experts before.
  • An existing program is producing inconsistent grades and you suspect the pool or the rubric.
  • Your legal team has asked how solicitors or clinicians can work on model data within their professional rules.

Who it is for

  • Heads of data at AI labs
  • Vertical-AI builders in legal, tax, health and finance
  • Data and evaluation vendors

Questions buyers ask

How is this different from Program setup in the Expertise practice?
Expert Program Design is a standalone Advisory engagement that ends in a written design you own, to run in-house or with any supplier. Program setup is the first stage of an Expertise engagement, where we also supply the experts. Choose Expert Program Design if you have not yet decided who will supply the people.
Which professions can a program include?
Our pool covers English-law solicitors and barristers, chartered accountants and tax specialists, clinicians, front-office finance, and compliance and financial crime. The design says which of these your work needs, and at what level.
Can UK-qualified professionals work on a US program?
For many programs, yes: legal reasoning, accounting judgment and clinical knowledge carry across to evaluation and rubric work. Where your program needs a US qualification, the design says so.
How is an Expert Program Design engagement quoted?
It is fixed scope, quoted after the brief call, once we know the domain and the shape of the program. The scope and the deliverable are agreed in writing before work starts.
