Hiring-market intelligence for data center and AI platform teams
Market Intelligence is Kernavique’s research service for leaders who need facts about the AI infrastructure labor market before they decide. We write hub reports on Northern Virginia, Atlanta, Columbus, Phoenix and Dallas–Fort Worth, read the hiring market for a role or discipline, and answer custom research questions. Every figure carries its source and date. The Briefing is the public part of this work; Market Intelligence answers your question.

Market Intelligence
What you get
Hub reports
Construction activity, power and policy, and the people market in one hub, each section built from named, dated sources.
Hiring-market reads
For one role or discipline: who employs these people, what the published pay ranges are and how active the market is.
Custom research questions
A specific question, such as whether a role can be filled in a given hub, answered in writing with the sources listed.
Sources you can check
Every figure carries its publisher, date and URL. Nothing is rounded up, and nothing goes in without a source.
How it runs
- Frame the questionOn the brief call we agree the question, the decision it feeds and the deliverable.
- ResearchWe read primary sources, job ads and published research, and record each figure with its source and the date we read it.
- ReportA written answer with its sources, and a call to walk through what it means for your plans.
When it fits
- You are choosing between hubs for a new data center program or office.
- A board or investor has asked whether the people your plan needs exist where you plan to hire them.
- You need a sourced view of one discipline, such as commissioning, before committing to a hiring plan.
Who it is for
- VP Engineering or Operations at Series A to C AI companies
- Practice leads at consultancies standing up a data center practice
- Colocation and hyperscale operators
Questions buyers ask
- What kind of figure goes into a hub report?
- Figures like this one: CBRE’s North America Data Center Trends H1 2026 (August 27, 2026) reported 7,481 MW of data center capacity under construction across eight primary North American markets, more than 80% preleased. A hub report takes figures of that kind for one hub and asks what they mean for hiring there.
- How is this different from the Briefing?
- The Briefing is published research on questions many buyers ask, open to anyone. Market Intelligence answers your question, for your roles and hubs, and the answer is yours.
- What if the data cannot answer our question?
- We say so. If a figure cannot be traced to a source we read on a known date, it is left out. The report then states what is not known rather than filling the gap.
- How is a Market Intelligence engagement quoted?
- It is fixed scope, quoted after the brief call, once the question and the deliverable are agreed. Both are set out in writing before work starts.
